Kim Jong-il Died: Video Announcement By North Korea TV

Kim Jong-il (Feb 16, 1941/2 – Dec 17 2011) was the supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).
A video was released, a North Korean woman in traditional clothing in tears announces the death of Kim Jong-Il in North Korea.
"It's the biggest loss for the party ... and it is our people and nation, the greatest sadness, "she said, according to the Associated Press.
Kim Jong-Il in Pyongyang reportedly died at 8:30 hours on Saturday, December 17 at the agency of North Korea's state news. The White House issued a statement on the death of North Korean leader: "The President has been informed and we are in close contact with our allies in South Korea and Japan."
