Megumi Yokota was born (Oct 5 1964, & died Mar 3, 1994). She was one of at least 17 Japanese citizens kidnapped by North Korea in the late 1970s and early 1980s.I previously blogged about the issue of abduction between the DPRK and Japan. Many of you saw the introduction in the kidnapping of Patty Kim documentary, The story of Megumi Yokota. A 7 July 08 was, Patty on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric featured.
