The Ford Fusion Hybrid is a gasoline-electric hybrid powered version of the mid-size Ford Fusion sedan developed by the Ford Motor Company.
The 2013 Fusion is on the same platform, based the foundation of the Ford Mondeo. Three discs are available, a 2.5L four-cylinder engine used on Ford products, so that 170 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and two options Ecoboost.
A 1.6L Ecoboost is 179 hp and 172 lb-ft and is the only configuration with a 6-speed manual transmission. Fuel consumption for the 1.6L should be 26/37 mpg city / highway.
A 2.0L EcoBoost has 237 hp and 250 lb.-ft. of torque deleted, but an optional four-wheel drive. A 6-speed automatic transmission is unique. The Fusion Hybrid is reported 47/44 mpg with city / highway numbers. The Atkinson cycle engine is reduced to 2.5L 2.0L, so 185 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque, but the details of the transfer are not available at this time.
A Lane Departure Warning, SYNC, active park assist, blind spot monitoring system and will be available MyFord touch. A plug-in fusion, called fusion energy will be available.
Ford does not disclose the size of the battery, charging time or numbers of the official zone (although there are about 500 miles), but the car will 100MPGe.
