Solar Flare, Sun Storm, Solar Storm: Sun Activity May Be Yield Stellar Aurora Borealis

A solar flare is a sudden brightening observed over the Sun surface or the solar limb. The greatest solar storm in five years has devoured the earth, but scientists say the planet has been lucky so far. The storm came more peacefully Thursday morning, as they might have.
Scientists say this could change as the storm spent the day shaking the magnetic field of the planet.
It could interfere with the technology, but also to spread colorful auroras. The storm began with a massive surge of solar energy earlier in the week and raised, as it sped outward from the Sun.
The storm came on the ground at about 6:00 clock Eastern. So far, officials say, there were no reports of problems with power grids, GPS, satellite or other technologies that are often disrupted by solar storms.
